The only one huge Tree which spread over 1.6 hectares since 250 years
The matter of nature is unique, not knowing how many kinds of animals and trees are there in it, all of which we are telling you today about one such unique tree. Let us tell you that the world’s widest tree has spread over 144400 square meters and this tree is in ‘The Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Botanical Garden’ near Kolkata. This tree has become so huge in more than 250 years that by looking at it, it seems that it is not a tree but the entire forest.
If you look from far away, this tree looks like a forest. Actually, in search of water harvested from the branches of the banyan tree, the land grows further down. They later water and support the tree as a root. The trend continued here with this tree and it became so vast as if the whole forest is there.
Let me tell you, at present, more than 2800 harvested roots of this banyan has taken the form. Its original root was uprooted by 2 cyclonic storms which came here in the 19th century, which later deteriorated due to fungus.
In 1925, this root was cut and separated but by then many other roots had taken the form of root. Because of this, this tree continues to grow even today, and its specialty is made on seeing it.
