The Great Wall of Berlin how it is Broken

GREAT WALL OF BERLIN: After the end of the Second World War, the city of Berlin had become a strange situation. It was transformed into an island-like city that was occupied by four countries. Each country divided Berlin into its own sectors. The four countries were the Soviet Union, the United States, Britain, and France. In 1948, efforts began to bring West Germany into existence, and Stalin objected to it.

Stalin sought revenge by cutting off parts of West Berlin adjoining his sector from West Germany. Plains became such that West Berlin became a permanently sore throat for areas around East Germany and on 13 August, Things changed dramatically in the blink of an eye on 1961.

Large scale barbed wire began to work towards East Germany, the concrete poles were hurriedly erected. A.char days later started to build more permanent structures made of concrete in East Germany regardless of western Germany. This was the Berlin Wall. One issue was the migration from East Germany towards the West. Every sixth man from East Germany had gone to West Germany and the escape took place via Berlin. Many people have found unique ways to cross the border – by making tunnels, by hot air balloons, sliding over wires passing over walls, or Breaking road barriers with high-speed trains.

The collapse of Soviet hegemony in the 1980s triggered political liberalization in East Germany and the loosening of border rules. This led to many demonstrations in East Germany and eventually led to the collapse of the government.

On 9 November 1989, it was announced that the ban on movement on the border has been lifted. Large groups of people from both East and West Berlin met each other after crossing the Berlin Wall. Over the next few weeks, there was an atmosphere of gaiety and people slowly broke the pieces of the wall and took them for memorabilia.

Later it was demolished using large equipment. The fall of the Berlin Wall led to the rise of nationalism throughout Germany and the people of East Germany approved the reintegration of Germany. Germany reunited on 3 October 1990.
