In today’s modern era almost all people are eating junk food because it is very tasty, easily available everywhere and also available at a low price. Earlier people used to eat junk food only when they go out, but now people are gradually making it their every day food, due to which people are facing many health related difficulties.
What is Junk food?
Junk food contains a lot of calories and a lot of vitamins, protein and minerals. Vitamins and minerals are right for the body as per the need. If we describe junk food in easy terms, then it is more beneficial and less harmful for human body.
The name of the high calorie food found in this outdoors was given by Junk Food, Michael F. Jacobson for the first time in 1972. Junk food is beautiful to look at, the more it is dangerous for the body.
In today’s day, everyone, from children to elders, has made a habit of eating junk food. Now junk food is being introduced in every street and neighborhood and it has become an important part of birthday or wedding party.
Some main examples of junk food are cold drinks, noodle, burgers, pizza, chips, namkeen, manchurian, samosa, pakoras, cakes, ice-cream, chocolate, etc. Similar types of junk foods exist today. None of these types of junk food have nutritious ingredients which will give some benefit to the body.

One thing is true, junk foods are very tasty to eat and also eradicate hunger. People who depend on fast food or junk food for a long time without nutritious elements lose their appetite, which leads to their desire to eat junk food instead of eating nutritious food at home.
This may cause people to go through health difficulties such as malnutrition. Children are the biggest victims of malnutrition because they do not develop properly due to junk food.
