Biography of Shah Rukh Khan:
Shahrukh Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi. He spent the first five years of his life in Mangalore. In 1960, his maternal grandfather Iftiar Ahmed was an engineer. And his grandfather Jan Muhammad was an ethnic Pathan of Afghanistan. Khan’s father Mir Taj Mohammad Khan was a freedom fighter from Peshawar (now Pakistan), British India. Till 2010, Khan’s paternal family resided in Katala Kawali Bazaar’s Shah Wali Katal Gali, Peshawar.
Mir Ye Khan was a follower of Abdul Ghaffar Khan and was associated with the Indian National Congress. He came to New Delhi before the partition of India in 1947. Khan’s mother Latif Fatima, Shahrukh Khan, was raised in Rajendra Nagar, which is located around Delhi.
While his father ran a variety of businesses, including a restaurant, his family was middle-class people who lived in a rented apartment. Khan completed his early education at St. Columbia School (Delhi), where he excelled in sports as well as studies. He received many awards in his student life. During his younger days, he participated in many dramas and played different roles.
Shah Rukh has been an actor whose fans are people of all ages and all classes. Especially, the girls are very fond of him but despite this Shah Rukh has not had an affair or love affair with anyone. He has always been loyal to his wife and loves his family immensely. Shahrukh is married to Gauri who comes from a Hindu-Punjabi family. They have 3 children – Aryan, Suhana and Abram. He is also considered to be the best father in the film industry as he loves his children immensely and also spends a good time with them.
Shahrukh’s career started in television. He made his mark in serials like Dil Darya, Fauji, Circus, and his film career started with the film ‘Deewana‘ for which he also received the Filmfare Award for Best Debutant Actor. The film became a super hit at that time and it was this film that established Shah Rukh in the Hindi film industry. After this, Shah Rukh never looked back and continued to climb the stairs of success. Gradually, he became the choice of public as well as critics and became very popular among girls.
Khan took acting education from renowned theater director Barry John in the theater action group in Delhi. Khan started his career in 1979 with the Doordarshan serial “Fauji”, in which he played the role of Komando Abhimanyu Rai. After that he acted in many more serials, the main one being the “Circus” of 1979, which described the lives of the people working in the circus and directed by Aziz Mirza. That same year he played a minor role in the English film “In Which Any Gives It Does One Once” written by Arundhati Roy. The film was based on student life at the University of Delhi.
After the death of his parents, Khan came to Mumbai from New Delhi in 1919. Her first performance in Bollywood was in the film “Deewana” which was declared successful at the box office. For this film, he received the Best First Acting Award from Filmfare. His next film was “Maya Memsaab” which did not work. He received his first Filmfare Best Actor Award for his role as an assassin in the 1993 hit film “Baazigar”.
